New Year is coming

Today is the last day of this year. Time flies. I can’t believe that this year is going to end. It seems that this year has just begun and passed soon. So many things happened in this year and I find it hard to handle them. It’s been a hard time during these months. Now things are going well. Thanks to my parents and friends, I am okay now. I knew I was so stupid and innocent in the past few months. All I have to do is getting rid of my bad habits and foolish thoughts. The New Year resolution I wish is that I want a wonderful and happy new year.

Who Did It?

The mosquito bit me a few days ago. I thought the scar would recover soon but I was wrong. The scar is getting serious. Every morning when I saw it, I shocked by it. It was so itchy and also a little bit painful. I really don’t understand why it can be so weird. If the mosquito did bit it, why the scars still haven’t recover? It’s been so many days. I have been wondering that maybe it was not the mosquito bite. I am so worried about my scar. It still hasn’t become better. Perhaps I should go to see the doctor soon.

Merry Christmas!

It was Christmas yesterday; friends and I have planned to play a game—“exchange gift” at Christmas since a few weeks ago. We decided to play it because we wanted to leave a wonderful memory that can made this Christmas colorful and meaningful. In the beginning, we were so excited that what gift everyone might take. I wish I would like the gift prepared by others and the “Lucky Star” would like the gift I prepared. In the end, all of us were satisfied and joyful with the gift. I got were 3 pieces of “panties”; the gift I prepared were “nail polishes”. Everyone did love the gift very much. I loved this Christmas so much. Merry Christmas!

Christmas

Christmas is coming; many people have been expecting this important day since it has became more and more popular. No matter youngster or grown-up people have been paying much attention to this day. Lots of activities would be held at this day; also, stores and shops would sell lots of related purchase that attract people to buy them. In fact, this day was a day of Christians’ day; the day which was Jesus’ birthday. Nowadays, people celebrate this day with many ways such as exchange the gifts, sending the cards, having special meals and parties… and so on. All of us are expecting the day so much.

Superstitions & Supernatural

I had three-hour oral class this morning; the topic today was “Superstitions & Supernatural”. As soon as I saw this topic, I felt both difficult and interesting about it because there is no result or meaning to talk about this topic but many people like to talk about it. Most people in Taiwan are quiet superstitious and believe in the supernatural. Perhaps it is because our culture and tradition. For me, I think I am more than quiet superstitious, it is all because my family. My family is very traditional and superstitious; moreover, we were Buddhists. With these reasons, I think I am more than quiet superstitious. No matter one is superstitious or whether one is believe in the supernatural or not, do not do bad things or he or she would have payoff.

Singing Contest

A singing contest was held by school last Sunday; I wanted to attend this competition in the beginning but I gave up in the end. The reason why was because I was afraid of standing in front of such a huge group of people. It makes me nervous and frightened. In addition, my friend told me that if I had attended this contest, then I would have become so worried about whether I could have done my best or not. Also, I would have spent lots of time to practice and prepare “a 40-second song” again and again; what’s more, I’m not good enough to enter the semi-finals. After considering all these reasons, I decided not to attend it, I just wanted to enjoy all the entries’ performance.

Celebration of STUT

It was the 38th year celebration of STUT last weekend, it was a very busy weekend; lots of people visited our school for the car exhibition, and other activities. It was the third year I attended the celebration of school. I remembered that the first time I attended it; we were all freshmen, all of us were so excited and expected it. Our class also had a stand which sold food, drinks, and flowers. Then, the second year of celebration, everything were the same so some of my friends suggested going to Kaohsiung. We went shopping and visiting some scenic spots. These were unforgettable memories in my college life. We really had a great time.

How Come?!

Many people wonder whether school would take continuous day off during 12/29~1/1 or not. Everyone wish to celebrate the end of this year and welcome the next year. It’s a pity that a year is going to end, and we are going to welcome the next year. The college life comes to the third year, I am so scare that I can’t do my best in fulfill my dream such as learn more things as more as possible, make good friends, broaden my mind,... and so on. When I know lots of my high school classmates are having their own wonderful life in college, I was so envy of them because I think my college life is so boring, I don’t know why. I need some colorful college life.

Be Tired of...

I am tired of my relationship with my boyfriend; it has been almost a year since we get together. During this year, there were plenty of things happened between us. We fought many times and always had arguments about the same thing; that is, I can not have my own free time and space and this is one of our problems. As long as I have free time, he always wishes me to accompany him. I don’t like it very much because I wish I have my own free time and space all the time. Sometimes I also wish someone to accompany me no matter my friends or boyfriend. I want a good relationship that is both of us can share our emotions and accompany each other but not all the time. Now we are both students, we shouldn’t spend much time in relationship; I know it is so important to make balance. I hope I can find the solution to solve this annoyance.

Poor English

I had an oral class this morning. Our topic today was “poor English”, which means the wrong or uncorrected English that Taiwanese would use. For example, the sentence “Sniper—we reach for the sky, neither does civilization.” The word neither should be so, because if the sentence has the word neither, it should be negative. Another example, the Pizza menu like sausage, fried ham, vegetable, smoking chicken, Hawaiian… and so on. The word smoking is wrong, because if the sentence is true, then it means the chicken is smoking. It doesn’t make sense. These are mistakes about poor English that Taiwanese people made. I think this is very important to memorize them and I hope I won’t make this kind of mistake.

Friends

For me, friends are really important since I was very young. I’ve made lots of friends so far. Some of them are my close friends, some of them are just common friends, and some of them are just passing visitors in my life. When it comes to friends, many people would have the same opinion as mine. One cannot live without friends, a friend is a person who gives you support when you in bad moon or difficult time, he or she would help you throw the plight and encourage you all the time; besides, a friend can share happiness with you and do not want any feedback. Humans are all lonely unless the existence of friends. I love my friends so much that I can’t lose them. I hope they also cherish our friendship.

I Hate Fighting

I had a fight with my friend last Sunday, I felt so sad because friends are really important to me. Since last Sunday, we haven’t talk to each other for 2 days. I am afraid to speak to her; I also afraid that she won’t took notice of me. Only when I speak to her did she answer me several words. Because of that, I choose not to talk to her actively. It was really embarrassed if I keep saying any word to her and perhaps she won’t response me. Although I know it was my fault but I didn’t say sorry to her because I thought it doesn’t matter if I didn’t apologize to her. However, we should talk to each other about our fight; I don’t want this situation last.

Home Sweet Home

I’m home tonight. I missed my family so much. After the class was over, I packed my package and prepared to go home happily. It's almost a month since the last time I had gone home. Time flies, a month passed quickly. I came back to my sweet home and see my dear families and friends. Not until I leave my sweet home did I know about how important they are and how I need them.

It doesn’t matter what happened to me if only I came back to home, all the unhappy things would disappear. No matter how unhappy things or difficult times have attacked me, my family would help me to solve any problem and relief any of my emotion as soon as possible. I love my sweet home; my sweet family.

Hot Pot

It’s still a freezing day today; the temperature has dropped down to 17-Celsius degree. It’s the best time to eat the spicy hot pot,
some of my friends and I decided to have it as our dinner. We were so hungry and excited. We can’t wait to start our meal. Thanks to our reservation, we could start our meal first, whereas some people have to wait until the other people had finished their meal.

That spicy hot pot is very famous; there are always full of people on weekends. It happens that the temperatures of these days were really cold, and it caused lots of people to eat hot pot. We were no exceptional. It was such an amazing thing that eating hot pot in such a cold weather. All of us felt satisfied and happy.

What A Cold Day!

The weather has became colder and colder. It’s time to take out my sweater and thick coat to keep myself warmer. Because of the “double typhoons”, the storm blew down several trees in school, even than the trashcan was blew down by the huge wind as well. I don’t like cold weather; I am a person who feels cold easily than others. In wintertime, if people put 2 clothes on them, then I would put 3 or 4 clothes on me. It’s true. I prefer warm weather, it make me feel comfortable and warm. I hope the weather would change and become warmer.

Lucky Day?

I have an important test--TOEIC on Sunday in STUT. In order to pass this challenging exam, I’ve been prepared it since the summer vacation. I even went to the cram school to strengthen and improve my English ability for a month. The purpose I attend this exam is not only to comply with the rule of school, but also want to test my own English ability. I am so excited and nervous about how “well” I get the score.

This is the first time I take TOEIC test, some of my friends and classmates were already took it before. However, most of them didn’t do very well on the test. That’s why I afraid it so much, I am afraid that I can’t do my best on this test. I hope Sunday will be my lucky day.

OH! My Dear Rabbit

My little pet rabbit, Mau, has become much bigger. I remember that the seller told me that the rabbit was mini rabbit, so it won’t grow up. The truth is that the seller cheated me. Mau grow up everyday and now he is twice bigger than the beginning size. I can’t accept this terrible truth but I have to face it. The cage I bought only have little space to contain him. If he becomes bigger, I have to buy the bigger cage so that he can feel cozy and comfortable. Moreover, he eats a lot, drinks a lot, and sleeps a lot. I think that’s the reason why he grows up so fast. I can’t imagine that how big wills he. I hope he won’t grow up any more.Please!

Big Problem!

One of my good friends, Joy, had a bad mood today. The reason why she felt down was because her boyfriend will become a graduate next year. Today was the day he took graduate photo. My friend cares him very much and she couldn’t imagine the day without him. As they been together, their relationship was better and better. Although they had arguments sometimes, they restored their relations quickly. Everyday they spent lots of time to gather together. Facing such a “problem”, I knew how she felt. As a good friend, all I can do is stay by her side, talk to her, and encourage her all the time.

Busy as a Bee

This week is the week before mid-term week. Everyone would become busier during this week. I need to prepare 3 subjects this week. Fortunately, I knew the results were not pretty well. I felt sad and regretful. The next thing I need to do is to be well-prepared for the rest subjects. I wish I could do the great job. Today I also had my oral training mid-term, each person talked with Chad for about 10 minutes; also, we have 3 topics can choose, just choose one of them. I chose the topic: If you could, what would you change? I would change my personality. I’m sure that no one is satisfied with his or her personality. I also need to improve some of my bad habits such as lazy, always “me-too”, like to procrastinate… and so on. Chad and I had a happy talk although he was tired after talking so many people. We encouraged each other and hope we can get rid of our bad habits soon.

I Love "Peach"

My friends and I had our dinner in a restaurant called “Peach”, which located on Da Shue Road. I love the name of it, it’s cute. As soon as we arrived there, we were surprised and can’t wait to have our big meal because we were starving. When we walked inside, the style of it was very special; the decoration of the entire restaurant appeared the tincture with warm and fragrant. By the way, it opens only from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. So we sat and prepared to order the meal. We found that the menu was really special such as soybean hot pot, soybean noodle, soybean green tea, apple flavor rice with pork, Switzerland chocolates hot pot… and so no. We spent a lot of time to decide our meal. Meals there were delicious and yummy and we were satisfied with them. To our surprise, there was a cute cat inside the restaurant which belongs to the boss. Many customers attracted by it, we were no exception. We took photos of it; we want to share with other friends. We love our reunion today.

What Is the Problem?

I fought with my boyfriend last night and the same argument still last tonight. I don’t understand that why can we had so many fights. I hate arguing or fighting with others especially my boyfriend. The truth is that I seldom had them with my friends but it always happened between my boyfriend and me. Sometimes I didn’t mean to have an argument with him but he always got angry easily. Then, he started to argued or fought with me. I really hate it because sometimes it was just a little thing that was meaningless or sometimes it was just a misunderstanding. I really want to know what the problem is between us. I know it’s impossible that there is no any argument or fight in a relationship. I hope that we can find out our problems, discussing them together, and solve them in the end.

This is the third year that I’ve been Tainan since I entered STUT. I’ve been thinking that how many things I have learned and experienced. I’ve heard that many college students would learn and experience many things that they have never face before they go to colleges; besides, they would learn from it after they face to the problems. My parents have been protected me for a long time since I was very young. As time I go to college, I have to handle many things by myself such as take care of myself, do the laundry, go to other places by myself… and so on. Now I’ve learned some things than before I went to college. I’m so glad. I wish I can grown up and handle many things by myself. I don’t want to make my dear parents worry about me.

Happy Birthday;Happy Halloween

Today is a special day, as everybody know, it’s Halloween. In the mean time, it’s the day of my friend’s birthday. I’ve been expected about today, because I think Halloween is a special and interesting day. I’ve looked forward to see what the activities will be held. I wish I could attend one or some of them. It seems that school didn’t hold any activity today. I was a little bit disappointed about it. I thought there will be hold a costume party. It will be very fun. Before today, the Kindergarten children in our school dressed up in many costumes and go “Trick-or-Treat” by walking around the campus and asking for candy. It’s so interesting and cute that I want to join them. After class, we went out to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We went to a beautiful café shop. The foods there were delicious; also, we had a wonderful time tonight.

I Need Some Help!

I went to see the Chinese medicine today because my allergy was getting seriously. I felt so uncomfortable and itchy that I can’t stand anymore. The reason why it getting seriously again perhaps is that I went back to Taipei and return to Tainan. My “sensitive“skin cannot accept the weathers, temperatures, and humidity between these two cities. Besides, my skin cannot adapt the climate recently when I was in Tainan few days ago, so it became a little but not big problem for me. As I was arrived Taipei, I thought my allergy will become worse than I was in Tainan. However, as I back to Taipei, I didn’t feel worse but better. How nice! In the other hand, as I back to Tainan, I felt worse and bad. I don’t know what to do? How can I deal with that? I really need help but there is no one can help me. All I can do is to take medicine on time and keep regular rests every day.

Here I Am!

Now I am sitting in front of my home's computer, I feel so relaxed and comfortable. I came back home tonight and gathered together with my family all night long. As soon as I arrived Taipei, my hometown, I felt so happy and excited that I want to stay here,I don’t want to go back to school. I can’t wait to see my family. It’s been almost a month that I haven’t seen them. Every time when I back home from school, I always feel that how much I miss them and how important are they. I cherish them very much. I will try to make a great schedule this weekend.

Homesick

The last time I went home was on the Moon Festival. It’s been almost a month that I haven’t gone home. I miss my family very much. I’ve been missing them all the time during these days, especially my parents called me. They always asked my current situation, cared my health problem, asked me to study harder to pass the TOEIC, early to bed early to rise…and so on. Every time when I heard their tender solicitude, I always want to cry. Moreover, I wish I could go home immediately. Only when I live outside and stay far away from my home did I realize the importance of home and my caring family. Now I am going home this weekend. I am so glad and expect as if I were in Heaven. I wish someone could understand my feeling.

Catch A Cold

I caught a cold yesterday because my boyfriend transmitted it to me. He had sore throat all day long. I asked him to drink a lot of water and to take a rest as more as he could. I thought he can recover soon, but I was wrong. The situation was’t change until we went to see the doctor. After seeing the doctor and took some medicine, he felt better. However, it was me that felt uncomfortable and sick. Because I didn’t want to see the doctor and take medicines, I wanted to cure myself by taking some nutrition, drinking more water, and taking rests to recover my health. I have heard that sometimes we don’t need doctors or medicines; all we need to do is to prevent the sickness such as to supply the nutrition that we can’t or we can hardly acquire in our daily life, good eating habits, and regular work and rest. The health is not only important for me but also to everyone.

My new pet

We went to the night market in Chuayi last night. Because of a friend of mine lives in Chuayi, so she advised to go to the night market. It was the first time I visit Chuayi; I was so excited about it. As soon as we got there, there were a great number of people there. We were shocked by this amazing sight. It took us a long time to park our car, because there were too many cars wanted to content for the parking areas. To find a parking lot wasn’t an easy thing during that time. Finally, we found a space to park. Then we went into the night market happily. To my surprise, I wasn’t thinking that I would buy a pet. However, the mini rabbits in night market were so cute that I can’t help falling in love with them. In the end, I bought one of them as my pet. I think I must to learn how to be a great owner from now on.

Hot-Spring

We went to a hot-spring this Saturday in “Guan-Tzu-Ling”, which is famous of the muddy hot-spring. We began our trip at noon, on the way to there; we had our lunch and arrived there about 2 o’clock. It took us a long time to choose the hotel. After decided the hotel, then we check in the room. The room was beautiful and it made us feel comfortable, the bathroom was also very big and amazing. I’ve heard that the muddy hot-spring is different from other hot-spring. It’s very special, it can cure the illness of the skin, relaxing, make the skin smoother and more beautiful. I really enjoyed in hot-spring and we had a good time during this trip.

Happy Birthday!

This Wednesday was my good friend, Janice’s birthday. We wanted to give her a surprise, so we decided to pretend that we all forgot her birthday. I know she expected about her birthday very much. If I were her, I think I would feel very sad and disappointed. I would ask myself that are they really my “good friends”? How can they forget my important day easily? I treat them at pains and care them very much. I think Janice would just like me; she would have the same feeling. We gave her the birthday gifts and surprise on Friday. We hide all the gifts in her wardrobe in many sites such as inside her pocket, between her T-shirts, inside the drawer… and so on, and ask her to find them by herself. I think it is an unforgettable birthday for her. I hope she would like it. Happy Birthday!

I Love Idiom

This morning I had a class called “oral training”, which taught by a foreign teacher, Chad. Our topic today was “idiom”. Last week Chad asked each of us to prepare 2-3 idioms and its’ meaning before we came to class. I was excited about today’s topic because I think “idiom” is interesting and special. I like them pretty much. I have learned and known several idioms before. An Idiom means a phrase which has another meaning from literalness. For example,”give someone a hand” is an idiom that means help someone or applaud. It doesn’t really means give someone a hand from your body, it’s terrible and ridiculous. Another example is “raining cats and dogs”; this is very famous one that describes the heavy rain, not really means the fall of cats and dogs from the sky. The more idioms I learn, the more pleasure I get. I really appreciate “idiom”, I want to learn it as more as possible. This is another way of learning English.

Double 10th Day

Today is double 10th day, the birthday of Taiwan. In order to celebrate this holiday, people don’t have to go to school or work today. I was happy about that today I can take a day off. Last night I went out with friends and we had a great time; also, I stayed up late so I woke up late today.
After having lunch, my friend and I decided to watch the fireworks which took place in Ping-Tong County. That was a great festival in celebration of the double 10th day so that plenty of people wanted to visit it, we were no exception.
The fireworks was held at 7o’ clock. Everyone was expected and waited with bated breath. We arrived there on time and found a good place to watch the fireworks. That was a wonderful show that everybody was satisfied. The show ended and a great number of people left there. Therefore, it caused the heavy traffic jam; it took us 3.5 hours to get home. We were exhausted. What a crazy double 10th day!

Good-hearted

I was eating breakfast with my friend, suddenly, we saw a black wallet on the floor. Then we started to think whether should we pick it up or not. Based on our good-hearted personalities, we decided to return the wallet back to the person.
I picked up the wallet and opened it, we tried to find the person's ID card or student card, then we found "his" ID card and student card. We were happy about that we can do a good thing.
Helping people is a great thing, I love to help people as more as possible, I'm not sure whether can I get feedback or not, but I will feel satisfied by doing those things. Finally, I sent the wallet to the school's lost-and-found, I hope he will take it back soon.

Again!!!

Another typhoon hit Taiwan this weekend; it seems like a strong typhoon. Everyone is worry about that the typhoon will cause a lot of damages. I hope this typhoon won’t bring about many disasters after it passes Taiwan.
I thought I can have a wonderful weekend; maybe I will be disappointed because of this terrible typhoon. I expect to see a movie with friends tonight but now the schedule is cancel. I have nothing to do, just stay in the dorm, listen to music and surf the Internet.
Every time when typhoon hits Taiwan, my skin also feels bad and uncomfortable because of the bad weather. The humidity of the air makes my skin allergic, it is really annoying and ridiculous but it’s true. My mom even said that maybe I can be the “broadcaster” in the future.

Hi~~Doctors!!!!

I went to see a doctor of Chinese medicine because of my allergy and my health. I was in poor health since I was very young, my parents and many of my relatives had been worry about my health and also took me to see many doctors whether Chinese medicine or Western medicine.
I've been taking Chinese and Western medicines for a long time, each of them have their pros and cons. For example, Chinese medicine has to take a long time to cure your body and then improve your health, whereas the Western medicine solves the illness of your body quickly. Besides, take Chinese medicine need to be more patient than take Western medicine. I hope my health can be better.

I don't have to take PE class since this semester. Having PE class motivates me to exercise or to play some sports. Because if there is no PE class, I will not do exercise or playing some sports forwardly. I am too lazy to do those things even though it’s good for me, but I would rather surf the Internet, go out with friends, listen to music, talking on the phone… and so on. I know this is kind of waste of time if I spend too much time on doing these things. I will try to do the things that are good for me even though I am too lazy to do them.

Just Like In Greece

I went to a restaurant, which is full of Greece style. It is really great .A friend told me that I should give it a try because she knew that I love Greece very much since I was very young. Anything related to Greece really makes me excited and joyful. When I got there, I was really happy and I couldn't wait to visit it right away. Then I looked around the whole restaurant, I was satisfied. After enjoying the meal, I was thinking of that I will visit it next time, because it was totally awesome.

New Translator

I lose my electronic dictionary last semester; I have been searching it for many months but still in vain. I was really sad and disappointed, I am too afraid of telling my parents that the electronic dictionary is missing. To my surprise, my boyfriend buy me a new electronic dictionary for me as the gift, it's too expensive for a student to buy a electronic dictionary because students don't earn money by themselves. Although he said he has been saving money for all the summer vacation, so it's not the serious problem, then he tell me don't worry about that, but I think I should give him some feedback to thank him. It's really touching.

The Moon Festival

The Moon Festival has been expected by many people, it is on August 15th of the lunar calendar(Chinese calendar). We can take 4 days off, everyone was happy about that because it's the holiday that every family can gether together with each other, sharing their happiness, holding a BBQ, eating lots of delicious food, and enjoying the beautiful full moon.That's really wonderful.I also had a great time.

Shopping

My friends and I went shopping tonight. We took train to Tainan Train Station, and then started shopping. We had our dinner first because we were starving. After finished our meal, we continued to go through each store and shop. There were lots of things on sale but we need to find out and find the thing we really like. What a challenge! After all, we had a good time tonight.

The Importantce of Health

Nowadays, people usually ignore their health, our health is very important that we can not fulfill anything without our health. Many people don't know how to take good care of them; they damage their health by doing many bad things like staying up late, eating junk foods, not knowing how to release pressure…and so on. I take health as an important issue in my life. Only when I have healthy body, can I do many things what I want and achieve my dreams as more as possible. I hope everyone can pay higher attention on their health.

My pain

I could not sleep well these days. Because of my skin allergy, it's really annoying. My skin has this kind of problem since I was very young, but it usually won't last so long and it won't turn so serious like these days' situation.Not only I feel terrible, but also my family and friends are worry about me. I hope my skin can recover soon; otherwise, I would always feel unhappy, terrible, sad, and frustrated.

English class

I went to English class during the summer vacation, it was awesome and amazing. I love the whole course and teachers there. I really had a great time; also, I made a lot of good friends there. They were nice, kind, and easy to get along with. I also learned a lot from the class, for example, listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and so on. It's definitely great that I can learn English happily even thought during the summer vacation.
